Roles and Responsibilities :
- Monitor Active Directory (AD) and Exchange environment health, and remediate any issues promptly.
- Manage Active Directory global forests, including group policy objects (GPOs), sites and service replication, OU structures, and trust security.
- Troubleshoot MS Windows operating system events and implement remediation through approved change control procedures.
- Review and remediate Windows Server network connectivity alerts to prevent production outages and maintain SLA compliance.
- Ensure all Windows Server operating systems remain patched, updated, and secure.
- Review vulnerability scans and remediate issues to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Collaborate with InfoSec teams to maintain a virus-free and secure server environment.
- Implement project work for operating system and application upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Adhere strictly to organizational Change Control procedures for any system modifications.
- Create and maintain service tickets, change requests, and knowledge base articles with technical detail for IT governance compliance.
- Participate in on-call rotations as required, addressing production incidents efficiently.
Skills & Qualifications :
- 8-15 years of experience in Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
- Strong knowledge of Exchange Server management, GPOs, OU structures, and AD replication.
- Hands-on experience with patch management, vulnerability remediation, and system security compliance.
- Familiarity with incident management, change control, and IT governance processes.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex IT environments.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work in rotating on-call schedules and manage production-critical systems
