Description :

Key Responsibilities :

Server Administration & Configuration :

- Installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Windows Servers.

- Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2012R2, 2016, and 2019.

- Configuring and troubleshooting WSUS and Windows patching-related issues.

- Maintaining server architecture, security, and performing system backups.

- Application installation, management, and server management tools administration.

Monitoring & Performance :

- Monitor Windows servers for performance issues, including disk space and resource utilization.

- Troubleshoot performance issues using PerfMon and other monitoring tools.

- Review system error logs and resolve user-reported errors.

- Manage Remote Desktop Services configuration and remote file systems (SMB).

- Troubleshoot system hangs, crashes, and other Windows-related issues.

User & Access Management :

- Manage user access and profiles, including user profile management.

- Configure and manage printing services.

Process & Support :

- Work on tickets and provide timely resolutions for system issues.

- Proactively identify opportunities to improve server reliability and performance.

Technical Skills / Expertise :

- Strong knowledge of Windows Server setup, deployment, and administration.

- Experience with server patching, WSUS, RDS, SMB, and printing services.

- Familiarity with performance monitoring and troubleshooting tools like PerfMon.

- Strong troubleshooting skills for system errors, hangs, and crashes.

- Knowledge of security best practices and backup processes
