Role Overview :
As a Windchill Developer, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing robust PLM solutions that streamline product data management for our diverse client base. You will collaborate closely with functional consultants, system architects, and client stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical configurations. Your work directly influences the efficiency of the product development lifecycle, ensuring that our clients maintain a competitive edge through optimized data integrity and automated workflows.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and deploy custom Windchill solutions to meet specific client requirements, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and system performance standards.
- Execute complex Windchill customizations and configurations within the PDMLink environment to enhance user productivity and data accessibility.
- Design and maintain seamless integrations between Windchill and third-party enterprise systems, such as ERP or CAD software, to ensure data consistency across the organization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical bottlenecks within the Windchill ecosystem to minimize downtime and improve overall system reliability for end-users.
- Provide technical guidance during the full software development lifecycle, from initial requirement gathering and system design to final deployment and post-implementation support.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrate deep technical expertise in Windchill, specifically within Windchill PDMLink, with a proven track record of delivering complex customizations and configurations.
- Possess strong proficiency in Windchill API development, enabling the creation of custom services and extensions that extend core platform functionality.
- Exhibit advanced problem-solving abilities to navigate intricate PLM challenges and translate them into efficient, maintainable code.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, articulating technical concepts to non-technical partners to ensure project alignment.
- Maintain a high degree of adaptability to work effectively in a remote or distributed environment, managing tasks independently while meeting rigorous project timelines.
- Hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, supported by 4 - 10 years of hands-on experience in the PLM domain.
