Windchill Developer - Java

Position Title : Windchill Developer

Experience level : 3+ years

Location : PAN India

Must have skills : Windchill API, Java and J2EE

Key Responsibilities :

Custom Solution Development :

- Design and develop high-quality custom applications, utilities, and components using Java, J2EE, Spring, and Windchill APIs (Info-Engine and Webjects).

- Develop custom actions, processors, listeners, and servlets to extend standard Windchill functionalities (e.g., custom change notice processing, part creation).

- Utilize development tools like Eclipse and deploy solutions via Windchill build and deployment processes.

Troubleshooting and Optimization :

- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to customization, performance bottlenecks, and system integration.

- Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and maintain thorough technical documentation for all developed solutions.

Required Qualifications :

- Expert proficiency in Java and J2EE development.

- In-depth, hands-on experience with the Windchill API and development framework (Info-Engine/Webjects).

- Experience with SQL for writing complex queries and procedures (Oracle or SQL Server).

- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and software design patterns.

PLM Knowledge :

- Deep understanding of core Windchill modules (PDMLink, ProjectLink) and PLM concepts (Change Management, Configuration Management).
