Role Overview :

WillWare Technologies is seeking an experienced Sterling OMS Developer / Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in IBM Sterling Order Management System. The role involves designing, configuring, and enhancing order management solutions, working across the full order lifecycle, and integrating OMS with enterprise platforms to deliver scalable and high-performance commerce operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Sterling OMS Development & Configuration :

- Design, develop, and configure solutions using IBM Sterling OMS (9.x / 10.x)

- Configure sourcing rules, scheduling rules, workflows, and order pipelines

- Develop Sterling extensions, service definitions, and custom agents

- Customize user exits and implement business logic as per requirements

Order Lifecycle & Business Flows :

- Manage and optimize end-to-end order lifecycle flows

- Implement and support drop-ship, backorder, and fulfillment scenarios

- Ensure accurate inventory visibility and allocation logic across channels

Integration & APIs :

- Develop and consume REST APIs and web services

- Integrate Sterling OMS with ERP systems, ESB, MQ, Kafka, and other enterprise platforms

- Work with XML, JSON, and XSLT transformations for seamless data exchange

Quality, Performance & Support :

- Troubleshoot production issues and provide performance tuning recommendations

- Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices

- Support deployment, upgrades, and post-production stabilization

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 6+ years of experience in IBM Sterling OMS development and configuration

- Strong expertise in Java / J2EE

- Proficiency in XML, JSON, XSLT, and REST APIs

- Hands-on experience with sourcing, scheduling, workflows, and order pipeline configuration

- Experience developing Sterling extensions, custom services, and agents

- Strong understanding of order lifecycle management, drop-ship flows, and inventory visibility

- Integration experience with ESB, MQ, Kafka, and ERP systems

Good to Have :

- Experience in Microservices or Cloud-based commerce architectures

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

- Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies

- IBM Sterling certifications
