Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Agile Development SME to lead a pre-study assessment evaluating the capabilities of the ServiceNow Agile Development module against leading Agile management tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira. The SME will perform a structured analysis focusing on functional capabilities, integration landscape, scalability, usability, and enterprise suitability, and provide actionable recommendations for tool adoption or optimization.

Desired Competencies :

Must-Have :

- Strong experience in ServiceNow Agile Development module (SPM / ITBM).

- Hands-on exposure to Azure DevOps and Jira Agile capabilities.

- Experience in tool evaluation / pre-study / consulting assignments.

- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum / SAFe).

- Experience in enterprise-scale Agile or DevOps implementations.

- Knowledge of backlog management, sprint planning, and reporting.

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Good-to-Have :

- Experience with ServiceNow Enterprise Agile Planning (EAP).

- Exposure to Agile tool migration / rationalization programs.

- ServiceNow certification (CIS-SPM preferred).

- Integration experience using REST APIs.

Role Description / Expectations :

1. Pre-Study & Assessment :

- Perform detailed evaluation of ServiceNow Agile Development module.

- Define assessment framework and comparison criteria.

2. Comparative Analysis :

- Compare ServiceNow Agile capabilities with :

a. Azure DevOps.

b. Jira.

- Cover backlog management, sprint execution, reporting, integrations, and scalability.

3. Stakeholder Engagement :

- Conduct workshops to understand current Agile tool usage and pain points.

- Gather requirements and validate findings with business and IT stakeholders.

4. Integration & Architecture Review :

- Assess integration capabilities with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise systems.

- Evaluate feasibility of coexistence or migration scenarios.

Deliverables :

- Capability comparison matrix.

- Fit-gap analysis report.

- Tool recommendation and adoption strategy.

- Executive summary for stakeholders.

Additional Notes :

- Short-term consulting / pre-study assignment.

- Expected to provide actionable recommendations for tool selection / optimization.
