Role Overview :

WillWare Technologies is looking for an experienced Mobile QA Engineer with strong expertise in mobile application testing and automation across iOS and Android platforms. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of backend systems and APIs, along with hands-on experience in automation frameworks, to ensure high-quality, stable, and scalable mobile applications.

This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can work closely with development, backend, and product teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Mobile Application Testing :

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.

- Test applications across multiple devices, OS versions, and screen sizes.

- Identify, log, track, and verify defects to closure.

Automation & API Testing :

- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Appium for mobile applications.

- Perform API testing using REST Assured to validate backend services and integrations.

- Execute automated test suites and analyze results for continuous quality improvement.

Backend & Integration Validation :

- Understand backend workflows, APIs, and services to validate end-to-end application functionality.

- Perform data validation and integration testing between mobile apps and backend systems.

Collaboration & Quality Ownership :

- Work closely with developers, backend teams, and product owners to clarify requirements and resolve issues.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Ensure quality standards are met throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in Mobile Application Testing.

- Strong hands-on experience testing applications on both iOS and Android platforms.

- Proficiency in Java for automation scripting and debugging.

Hands-on experience with :

- Appium for mobile automation

- REST Assured for API testing

- Solid understanding of backend systems, APIs, and service-based architectures.

- Strong defect tracking, debugging, and analytical skills.

- Experience working in Agile environments.

Good to Have :

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.

- Exposure to performance testing tools.

- Knowledge of mobile security testing.

- Experience with cloud-based device farms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, etc.).
