Roles & Responsibilities-

- Design, develop, and maintain the Apple Player SDK for iOS, tvOS, and other Apple platforms.

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to improve video playback features and user experience.

- Optimize streaming performance for low latency, high video quality, and smooth playback.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to media streaming, buffering, DRM, and playback failures.

- Ensure high-quality code through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.

- Stay up to date with Apples latest frameworks, SDKs, and industry best practices.

- Document technical designs, solutions, and evaluate trade-offs using modern streaming media technologies.

- Provide on-call support for critical, customer-facing production issues.

- Mentor junior developers and guide them on design decisions and coding standards.

Required Qualifications :

- 6-10 years of software development experience with strong expertise in iOS and tvOS development.

- OTT / Video Streaming experience is mandatory.

- Strong proficiency in Swift and UIKit, with proven performance optimization experience.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, especially in production environments.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

- Experience with large-scale application architecture, scalability, and performance tuning.

- Solid understanding of design and architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVP, and SOLID principles.
