Role Overview :
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong expertise in NestJS and GraphQL, along with solid frontend experience in React / Next.js. This role involves owning critical backend and API architecture while contributing to frontend delivery to create seamless, high-performance user experiences.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable taking ownership of complex technical areas, collaborating closely with design and product teams, and driving best engineering practices in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable backend services using NestJS.
- Architect and implement GraphQL APIs aligned with business requirements.
- Build and enhance frontend components using React / Next.js to deliver intuitive user experiences.
- Own and drive complex technical modules, ensuring alignment with overall system architecture.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Collaborate closely with design and UX teams to improve UI/UX outcomes.
- Utilize tools such as Docker, PostgreSQL, and Prisma ORM to streamline development and deployment (good to have).
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior engineers as needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development standards and processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 6+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong hands-on expertise in NestJS backend development.
- Proven experience designing and implementing GraphQL APIs.
- Solid frontend experience with React and/or Next.js.
- Ability to take ownership and lead technical initiatives.
- Strong passion for clean, well-structured, and maintainable code.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications-
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with Docker, PostgreSQL, Prisma ORM, and cloud-native development.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
- Experience mentoring or leading engineering teams.
