Role Overview :

We are looking for a skilled GCP DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, containerization, and automation.

The role involves designing, deploying, and managing scalable and secure cloud environments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) while ensuring high availability and performance.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools, along with a strong understanding of DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Deploy and manage containerized applications using GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine).

- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for automated provisioning.

- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GCP Cloud Build.

- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance through proactive monitoring and optimization.

- Implement and manage monitoring and alerting systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and GCP Cloud Monitoring.

- Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes and release cycles.

- Ensure adherence to cloud security best practices, including identity management, network security, and data protection.

- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application-related issues in production environments.

Core Skills & Expertise :

- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Run, and Cloud Monitoring.

- Expertise in Kubernetes (GKE) for container orchestration and deployment.

- Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build.

- Strong understanding of Docker and containerization.

- Experience with monitoring tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and GCP-native monitoring solutions.

- Good knowledge of Linux systems, networking, and cloud security principles.

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Python.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems

- Familiarity with DevOps best practices and Agile methodologies

- GCP certifications (preferred but not mandatory)
