About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester with 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test frameworks.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on skills in Selenium, Java/Python, API automation, CI/CD, and modern testing tools.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.

- Build robust test frameworks using Java/Python/JavaScript.

- Automate web, mobile, and API testing using tools like RestAssured, Postman, or Karate.

- Identify test scenarios suitable for automation and prioritize test coverage.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).

- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.

- Collaborate with developers, manual testers, and product teams to ensure product quality.

- Execute automation scripts and analyze test results.

- Debug failures, analyze root causes, and report defects using JIRA or similar tools.

- Maintain test data, environments, and reusable components in the automation suite.

- Contribute to QA best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years of experience in test automation.

- Strong hands-on expertise with Selenium WebDriver.

- Proficiency in at least one programming language : Java / Python / JavaScript.

- Experience with automation frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, Cucumber, Robot Framework.

- API automation experience using RestAssured, Postman, SoapUI, or Karate.

- Strong skills in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).

- Experience with Git and version control workflows.

- Knowledge of SQL for backend validation.

- Experience with cloud testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs) is a plus.

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
