We are seeking a highly skilled Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) professional with strong functional and technical expertise.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing and supporting D365 F&O modules, combined with technical proficiency in integrations, customizations, and application lifecycle management.
Prior exposure to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009/2012 will be considered a strong advantage.
This role requires a blend of functional knowledge, technical capability, and business process understanding to design, configure, and deliver solutions aligned with organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with business stakeholders/Onsite leads to gather, analyze, and document requirements across Finance and Operations processes.
- Configure and customize D365 F&O modules to meet business requirements.
- Support full lifecycle implementations : requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post go-live support.
- Develop and extend functionality through UI design, workflows, and security configurations.
- Build and maintain integrations with external systems using APIs and data management tools.
- Manage and execute data migration activities using the Data Management Framework (DMF).
- Utilize Azure DevOps for development, version control, and ALM processes.
- Monitor and maintain environments via Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Azure Portal.
- Write SQL scripts for data validation, troubleshooting, and reporting.
- Provide end-user training, documentation, and ongoing support to ensure adoption of solutions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and technical leadership to ensure scalability, compliance, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
Required Skills & Experience :
Core Product Knowledge :
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).
- Prior exposure to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009/2012 (preferred).
Functional Expertise :
- Strong functional understanding of core modules :
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P).
- Order-to-Cash (O2C).
- Plan & Build (Planning & Production/Supply Chain).
Technical Skills :
- Strong knowledge of tables, classes, and objects related to Finance & Operations modules.
- Experience with API integrations for connecting D365 F&O with external applications.
- Ability to create new UI forms, UI extensions, and customizations.
- Hands-on experience with Data Management Framework (DMF).
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps for source control, development, and release management.
- Ability to write and optimize SQL scripts for data queries, analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Practical knowledge of Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Azure Portal for environment monitoring and management.
- Experience with workflow configuration and security management (roles, duties, and privileges).
Desired Qualifications :
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O certifications (Finance, Supply Chain, or Technical) are a strong plus.
- Experience in full-cycle D365 F&O implementations (end-to-end project exposure).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Problem-solving and analytical mindset with the ability to recommend best practices.
