WiFi Firmware Developer

We are hiring for our tech client for their office in Bangalore for a skilled WiFi Firmware Developer with strong expertise in embedded software and WLAN firmware development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in wireless networking products, firmware architecture, and feature development for WiFi solutions.

Job Description :

- Work on implementation and optimization of wireless networking features and algorithms

- Develop and optimize PCIe-based data path implementation

- Analyze, debug, and resolve networking and wireless performance issues

- Optimize throughput, packet scheduling, and QoS performance

- Collaborate with cross-functional and multi-site engineering teams

- Participate in feature development, debugging, testing, and performance tuning activities

Qualification :

- 4 to 8 years of hands-on system software development experience

- Minimum 4+ years of experience in Linux kernel development, specifically :

a. Network Driver Development

b. WLAN Driver Development

- Strong understanding of IEEE 802.11 protocol specifications

- Good knowledge of WFA protocols such as :

a. P2P

b. DPP

c. WPA3

- Hands-on experience with :

a. ACS

b. Concurrency

c. DFS

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Electronics / Communications Engineering. Master's degree preferred
