About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled WiFi Engineer with strong experience in software development for Linux and Android platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in WiFi standards, network stack, and in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) systems. You will be responsible for developing, integrating, and validating WiFi features to ensure high performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop WiFi software components for Linux and Android (AOSP)-based platforms.

- Integrate WiFi functionalities within In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systems.

- Implement and validate WiFi features including Access Point, Station, and WiFi Direct.

- Perform WiFi feature testing, debugging, and issue resolution.

- Capture and analyze WiFi sniffer logs and PCAP files to diagnose network and performance issues.

- Ensure compliance with WiFi Alliance Certification standards.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for feature development and system integration.

Key Requirements :

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

- 6 - 8 years of experience in WiFi technology software development on Linux and Android platforms.

- Strong programming proficiency in C, C++, and Java.

- Hands-on experience with Android AOSP and Linux-based build environments.

- Good understanding of WiFi features and behavior in IVI systems.

Technical Expertise :

- In-depth knowledge of WiFi standards: 802.11n, 802.11ac, 802.11ax.

- Familiarity with WiFi security protocols : WPA2, WPA3.

- Expertise in WiFi Access Point, WiFi Station, and WiFi Direct functionalities.

- Strong understanding of Linux and Android network stacks.

- Experience with WiFi Alliance certification execution.
