Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly motivated Wi-Fi Developer with a strong background in embedded systems, RTOS, and wireless protocols. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and commercializing embedded Wi-Fi firmware solutions for resource-constrained, real-time environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and optimize Wi-Fi firmware for embedded platforms.

- Implement MAC/PHY layer features and protocol handling as per Wi-Fi standards (IEEE 802.11 family).

- Work on RTOS-based systems (e.g., FreeRTOS) for real-time performance.

- Integrate and debug firmware on ARM Cortex A/R/M based platforms.

- Use Lauterbach JTAG and Trace32 for low-level debugging and trace analysis.

- Optimize code for performance and power efficiency, especially in low-power modes.

- Collaborate closely with hardware, software, and QA teams to ensure robust and scalable firmware.

- Utilize Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, and other CI tools for source control and build automation.

- Drive root-cause analysis of complex issues and deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills :

- Expertise in C programming, with strong grasp of data structures and algorithms.

- In-depth understanding of Wi-Fi protocols and embedded wireless communication systems.

- Strong knowledge of Operating Systems fundamentals and RTOS like FreeRTOS.

- Experience with Linux/Unix-based development environments.

- Hands-on experience with ARM Cortex processors.

- Familiarity with firmware debugging tools : Lauterbach, JTAG, Trace32.

- Proficient in software profiling and performance tuning.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have :

- Python scripting skills for automation and test development.

- Prior experience in Wi-Fi firmware commercialization.

- Knowledge of 802.11ac/ax standards or similar wireless technologies.

- Experience in handling low-level drivers and hardware bring-up.
