Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of experience to own and optimize our deployment workflows, automation systems, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure tooling.

You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to improve reliability, speed, and security across our environments.

This role is 100% DevOps, focused on automation, tooling, CI/CD, observability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

Automation & Tooling :

- Design, build, and maintain automation scripts to streamline engineering and operational workflows.

- Automate repetitive tasks and improve developer productivity through tooling and pipelines.

CI/CD & Deployments :

- Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).

- Ensure reliable, consistent, and secure deployment workflows for SaaS applications.

- Implement automated testing, staging, and rollback strategies.

Infrastructure Operations (DevOps Focus) :

- Manage infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).

- Work with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) primarily from a DevOps perspective: provisioning, automation, configuration, and deployment.

- Enforce operational best practices: versioning, automation, GitOps, configuration management.

Monitoring & Reliability :

- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (CloudWatch, Stackdriver, Azure Monitor, or similar).

- Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize systems for reliability and scalability.

- Support incident response and root-cause analysis.

Security & Compliance :

- Implement DevSecOps best practices (secrets management, access control, CI/CD security).

- Ensure secure deployment pipelines and automated compliance checks.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with backend, QA, and product teams to integrate automation into the development lifecycle.

- Participate in architecture discussions related to reliability, automation, and operations.

Required Qualifications :

- 5+ years in DevOps or platform engineering roles.

- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infra-as-code.

- Hands-on proficiency with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

- Experience with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) in a DevOps capacity.

- Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools.

- Experience with monitoring/alerting systems.

- Strong understanding of automation, operational efficiency, and deployment best practices.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Exposure to high-availability SaaS environments.

- Experience implementing GitOps or DevSecOps workflows.

- Familiarity with cost-aware operational optimization (but not full cloud-engineering roles).
