Role Overview :

We are seeking a skilled ORMB QA / Developer who can effectively contribute to both functional testing and technical development activities within Oracle Revenue Management & Billing (ORMB) implementations and support projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of ORMB functionalities, testing methodologies, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to collaborate with global teams to deliver high-quality solutions within committed timelines.

Key Responsibilities :

QA & Testing Responsibilities :

- Analyze and understand business, functional, and technical requirements.

- Design, prepare, and execute comprehensive SIT (System Integration Testing) scenarios and test cases.

- Ensure test coverage is exhaustive and aligns with project requirements.

- Follow established testing standards, processes, and quality guidelines.

- Participate in Test Plan reviews and ensure deliverables meet defined quality benchmarks.

- Perform defect tracking, reporting, and validation of fixes.

- Support regression, integration, and end-to-end testing activities.

Development & Technical Responsibilities :

- Develop, configure, and support ORMB functionalities as per business requirements.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, job failures, batch execution errors, and application defects.

- Analyze logs, system issues, and performance bottlenecks to ensure smooth execution.

- Collaborate with technical and functional teams during implementation and support phases.

- Support production deployments and post-release validation activities when required.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Work closely with onshore and offshore stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

- Effectively communicate project status, risks, issues, and progress updates.

- Clearly articulate technical and functional solutions during discussions and meetings.

- Demonstrate ownership and accountability for assigned deliverables.

Required Skills :

- Hands-on experience with Oracle Revenue Management & Billing (ORMB).

- Strong understanding of ORMB modules, business processes, and configurations.

- Experience in SIT, UAT support, integration testing, and defect management.

- Ability to understand and interpret technical and functional specifications.

- Knowledge of SQL, Oracle Database, batch processing, and troubleshooting.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working in Utilities, Billing, Revenue Management, or CIS environments.

- Exposure to Oracle Utilities products (CC&B, C2M, MDM, etc.) is an advantage.

- Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery models.

- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools.
