Role : Software Development Engineer

We require someone who can operate within a POD with minimal supervision from the engineering manager. He/She should have the capability to comprehend PRDs, break them down into smaller problems, and independently handle the coding and release process.

Responsibilities :

- Monitor and optimize business metrics within the POD.

- Manage Microservices effectively.

- Maintain Service Uptime.

- Achieve zero or negligible errors in production.

- Ensure code quality standards meet Sonar criteria.

- Mentor junior team members.

- Participate in On-Call and incident reduction efforts.

Requirements :

Core skills :

- Strong problem-solving abilities.

- Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and coding.

- Expertise in low-level design.

- Competence in SQL databases and NoSQL databases.

- Capability to conduct code and design reviews.

- Proficiency in computer science fundamentals, including operating systems.

Additional Skills :

- Familiarity with high-level design.

- Knowledge of deployment and production environments.
