Webkul - DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with strong experience in cloud infrastructures, CI/CD automation, containerization, and Linux systems. The ideal candidate should demonstrate hands-on expertise in AWS or GCP, a solid understanding of modern DevOps toolchains, and the ability to design and deploy robust, scalable, and secure cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructures on AWS, GCP, Azure, OVH, or similar platforms.

- Implement and maintain scalable multi-tier architectures based on microservices.

- Perform server monitoring, troubleshooting, incident analysis, and optimization.

- Build and automate operational workflows using Shell or Python scripting.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or equivalent tools.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments (IaC experience is a plus).

- Integrate and manage container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

- Optimize container deployments to support application scalability and performance.

- Manage and optimize LAMP/LEMP stacks including Apache, NGINX, PHP, Node.js, and MySQL.

- Host, manage, and secure applications on Linux servers. Perform frontend, backend, and database performance tuning.

- Prepare and maintain system specifications, standards, and operational documentation.

- Provide clear insights by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing infrastructure and service issues.

Technical Skills Required :

- Cloud Platforms : AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure

- Operating Systems : Linux (expert level) Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes

- Automation & Scripting : Shell Scripting, Tomcat

- DevOps Tools : Jenkins, GitLab/GitHub, version control workflows

- Networking : Basic to intermediate knowledge of networking concepts

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) :

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)

- Exposure to monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK Stack

- Knowledge of cloud security frameworks

- Experience managing scalable microservices architectures
