Web Full Stack Developer - Node.js/React.js

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in React.js, Node.js, and MySQL to join our growing engineering team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance web applications, developing secure RESTful APIs, and managing robust database solutions to support business-critical operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Frontend Development (React.js) :

- Design, develop, and maintain responsive and high-performance web applications using React.js

- Build reusable components and front-end libraries to improve development efficiency

- Ensure UI/UX best practices are effectively implemented

- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility

- Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs

Backend Development (Node.js / Express.js) :

- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js

- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth)

- Optimize server-side logic for performance, scalability, and security

- Develop and maintain business logic and backend services

- Implement real-time features using WebSockets (where applicable)

Database Management (MySQL) :

- Design, develop, and maintain relational database schemas using MySQL

- Write optimized SQL queries, joins, and stored procedures

- Ensure data integrity, security, and availability

- Perform database performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer

- Strong expertise in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+)

- Solid experience with Node.js and Express.js

- Strong hands-on experience with MySQL and relational database design

- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs

- Understanding of authentication, authorization, and security best practices

- Knowledge of version control systems (Git)

- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Good to Have :

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

- Exposure to Docker and CI/CD pipelines

- Familiarity with TypeScript

- Experience in microservices architecture

- Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress, etc.)
