Web Development Team Lead - Python/Node.js/React.js

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Web Development Team Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in both front-end and back-end web development, excellent leadership skills, and proven experience in managing end-to-end development lifecycles. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for guiding a team of developers, ensuring timely project delivery, maintaining high coding standards, and working closely with stakeholders to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage a team of web developers, ensuring productivity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Assign, monitor, and review tasks, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.

- Mentor junior and mid-level developers, providing technical guidance and career development support.

- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and progress tracking.

- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications.

- Participate in coding, architecture design, and code reviews to maintain best practices.

- Ensure adherence to software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum) and industry standards.

- Troubleshoot technical issues, optimize application performance, and ensure smooth project execution.

- Work closely with project managers, business analysts, UI/UX designers, and QA teams to deliver robust solutions.

- Engage with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and align deliverables with business needs.

- Translate business objectives into technical requirements and actionable development plans.

- Implement best coding practices, security standards, and version control systems (Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket).

- Drive the adoption of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.

- Ensure proper documentation of systems, processes, and technical specifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong proficiency in back-end technologies : Node.js, PHP, Python, Java, or .NET (any combination relevant to company stack).

- Solid understanding of front-end frameworks : React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.

- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and responsive design principles.

- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and Microservices architecture.

- Experience with databases : MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Proven experience in leading and managing a team of developers.

- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.

- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong written and verbal communication.

- Ability to work in a collaborative, on-site team environment in Kolkata.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

- 810 years of experience in web development with at least 23 years in a team lead/managerial role.
