Web Developer - PHP/Javascript

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality websites and web applications. The ideal candidate will have experience working with frontend and/or backend technologies, and will collaborate with designers and product teams to deliver engaging, user-friendly digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and deploy responsive websites and web applications

- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and backend languages

- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security

- Troubleshoot and debug issues across different browsers and devices

- Maintain and update existing websites and applications as required

- Integrate third-party APIs and services

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes

- Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies, tools, and best practices

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

- 2+ years of experience in web development

- Proficient in frontend technologies : HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)

- Experience with frontend frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js

- Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, PHP, Python, Ruby, or Java

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating web services

- Understanding of version control systems like Git

- Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility issues

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications :

- Knowledge of database systems (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL)

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

- Basic understanding of SEO principles

- Experience with testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Selenium)
