Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise eCommerce solutions using IBM WebSphere Commerce/HCL Commerce.

- Provide technical leadership and mentor developers throughout the project lifecycle.

- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance commerce applications.

- Customize storefronts, business logic, catalog, pricing, promotions, and order management functionalities.

- Develop and review Java/J2EE-based applications, REST APIs, and integration services.

- Integrate HCL Commerce with ERP, CRM, OMS, payment gateways, and third-party applications.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to architecture, coding standards, and best practices.

- Troubleshoot complex production issues and optimize application performance.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Architects, QA, and DevOps.

- Drive Agile delivery, sprint planning, estimations, and release management.

Required Skills :

- 10+ years of IT experience with strong expertise in IBM WebSphere Commerce (WCS)/HCL Commerce.

- Hands-on experience with HCL Commerce v9 and migration/upgrade projects.

- Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, JSP, Servlets, REST/SOAP Web Services, and Microservices.

- Experience with Solr Search customization and indexing.

- Strong knowledge of SQL and databases such as DB2, Oracle, or SQL Server.

- Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
