Job Title: Technical Lead - Data Warehouse (8-10 Years Experience)
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Technical Lead Data Warehouse, Reporting & Analytics with 8-10 years of experience in designing, implementing, and leading enterprise data platforms across cloud and on-premises environments.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Data Warehousing, Reporting, Dashboards, Analytics, Data Governance, and Data Management, along with proven leadership in driving end-to-end data initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise Data Warehouse (DWH) and Analytics platforms.
- Drive end-to-end ownership of data ingestion, transformation, storage, reporting, and advanced analytics.
- Design and manage ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and semi-structured data.
- Lead the development of enterprise-grade reports, dashboards, and self-service BI solutions.
- Define and implement Data Governance, Data Quality, Master Data Management (MDM), and Metadata Management frameworks.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cloud DWH (Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks,) and On-prem DWH
- Expertise in Dimensional modeling, Star/Snowflake schema, and Data Lakes & Lakehouse architecture
- Expertise in ETL / ELT & Data Engineering, tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue
- Expertise and knowledge of Batch and near real-time data pipelines, Data validation, reconciliation & monitoring.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik for reports, BI and dashboard
- Experience in Executive dashboards, operational reporting, KPI automation, and Self-service BI enablement
- Strong exposure to Descriptive, diagnostic & predictive analytics, Data profiling, lineage, & metadata management
- Solid understanding of SQL, Python/R (preferred)
- Strong experience in Data Governance frameworks, Data Quality rules and controls, MDM, reference data management, GDPR, data privacy & regulatory compliance, Role-based security & data masking
- Ensure data security, access controls, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to translate business KPIs into scalable data solutions.
- Oversee cloud and on-premises DWH platforms, including hybrid architectures.
- Lead data migration and modernization programs from legacy to cloud platforms.
- Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, BI developers, and analysts.
- Drive performance tuning, capacity planning, and cost optimization.
- Establish best practices, SOPs, documentation, and data standards.
- Lead UAT, go-live, post-production support, and continuous optimization.
- Collaborate with CRM, ERP, Marketing Automation, and external data sources for enterprise-wide integration.
- Support advanced analytics, AI/ML use cases, and predictive modeling enablement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, IT, or related field.
- Certification in Cloud Platforms, Data Engineering, or BI tools is a plus.
- Experience in large-scale enterprise DWH modernization programs.
- Exposure to CDP, Marketing Analytics, CRM Analytics, AI/ML enablement & advanced analytics
- Domain experience in stadium & sports, Aviation, is an advantage.
- Proven experience leading data engineering and BI teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, and experience working on Agile projects.
- Knowledge of requirements management and documentation techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to changing project priorities.
- Familiarity with software development concepts and terminology
