Description :

Full-Stack Development :

- Lead and actively contribute to development across the entire technology stack backend, frontend, APIs, databases, and integrations.

- Architect and design clean, modular, scalable systems and ensure adherence to best coding practices.

- Write production-quality code while reviewing and improving code written by the team.

- Own architectural decision-making, evaluating frameworks, libraries, and design patterns.

- Implement reusable components, maintain coding guidelines, and enforce best practices for performance, readability, and maintainability.

- Manage third-party integrations, SDKs, and API-driven workflows.

Backend Ownership :

- Design and optimise SQL/NoSQL databases for scalability, reliability, and performance.

- Develop secure APIs, microservices, server-side logic, and backend workflows.

- Implement authentication/authorisation frameworks (OAuth, JWT, SSO, etc.

- Ensure backend security through encryption, sanitisation, rate-limiting, and adherence to OWASP standards.

- Monitor and fine-tune server performance, caching strategies, log management, and error handling.

- Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for compute, storage, load balancing, and managed services.

Frontend Ownership :

- Lead UI/UX implementation using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, etc.)

- Ensure responsive, pixel-perfect design implementations across desktop, tablet, and mobile.

- Manage state management frameworks (Redux, Vuex, Context API, etc.)

- Optimise frontend performance (lazy loading, bundling, minification, caching).

- Guarantee cross-browser compatibility, accessibility standards, and SEO-friendly markup.

- Collaborate with designers to convert wireframes into functional interfaces with a focus on usability and consistency.

Requirement Gathering & Planning :

- Work closely with stakeholders, product owners, designers, and leadership to understand business needs.

- Translate functional requirements into detailed technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and workflow documents.

- Conduct feasibility assessments and propose technology solutions aligned with business goals.

- Estimate development timelines, define scope, manage changes, and break tasks into actionable sprints.

- Maintain high-quality technical documentation for future reference and team onboarding.

Deployment & DevOps :

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, integration, and deployments.

- Manage environments (dev, staging, production) with rigorous version control using Git.

- Ensure seamless deployments in cloud or on-prem environments with zero/low downtime.

- Automate testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

- Monitor application health post-deployment and optimise using logging, alerting, and observability tools.

- Drive best practices around release management, rollback strategies, and continuous improvement.

Team Leadership & Collaboration :

- Lead and mentor developers by providing guidance, conducting code reviews, and fostering growth.

- Ensure the team follows coding standards, design principles, and secure development practices.

- Collaborate with QA teams for test planning, bug tracking, and ensuring release quality.

- Coordinate closely with design, product, business, and marketing teams for smooth project execution.

- Facilitate technical discussions, remove blockers, and maintain team productivity.

- Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and innovation within the development team.

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in backend languages (Node.js, PHP, Python, Java, or similar).

- Advanced frontend skills with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).

- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and component-driven UI architecture.

- Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture.

- Hands-on experience with SQL & NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).

- Knowledge of cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure), including CI/CD, EC2/Lambda, S3, CloudFront, etc.

- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Nginx/Apache, serverless deployments, or containerised environments.

- Strong command of Git, branching strategies, GitFlow, and repository management.

- Knowledge of security protocolsHTTPS, CORS, CSRF, encryption, SSL/TLS, OWASP top 10.

- Experience integrating third-party APIs, payment gateways, analytics tools, and CRM systems.
