We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality engineering for the VuSmartMaps Observability Platform through AI-enabled automation and modern testing practices. In this role, you will design intelligent test automation, build scalable validation frameworks, and leverage AI-assisted workflows to improve quality across cloud-native, distributed systems processing billions of telemetry events.
Working closely with Engineering, Product, SRE, and DevOps teams, you will help ensure the platform is reliable, scalable, secure, and production-ready.

Roles & Responsibilities :
- Own the end-to-end quality strategy for the VuSmartMaps Observability Platform.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for APIs, UI, distributed services, and telemetry pipelines.
- Build AI-assisted test automation using LLMs, AI agents, and intelligent testing workflows.
- Develop reusable AI Skill Definitions, prompts, and workflows for automated test generation, validation, and regression testing.
- Build browser automation using Playwright, with hands-on experience in Playwright MCP (Model Context Protocol) being highly desirable.
- Design and execute functional, integration, regression, performance, and resilience tests for distributed systems.
- Develop automation frameworks using Playwright, Python, Go, Bash, pytest.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitOps, Spinnaker, or similar platforms.
- Collaborate with Engineering, SRE, and DevOps teams to drive Shift-Left quality practices.
- Mentor QA engineers and promote automation and AI testing best practices.
What You Bring :
Required Skills :
- Strong experience in test automation for enterprise or cloud-native applications.
- Proficiency in Python (preferred), Go, or similar programming languages.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright and modern API/UI automation frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience building AI-powered test automation using LLMs and AI coding assistants.
- Experience writing AI Skill Definitions and agentic testing workflows.
- Knowledge of Playwright MCP or similar AI-assisted browser automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with observability technologies such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and ClickHouse.
- Knowledge of observability platforms such as Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk, Elastic Observability, or New Relic is an added advantage.
