Vulnerability Management Engineer

Description:

- Lead and manage the end-to-end vulnerability lifecycle, including identification, assessment, prioritization, tracking, and remediation.

- Perform vulnerability analysis across servers, endpoints, networks, applications, and cloud workloads.

- Collaborate closely with Infrastructure, Security, and Operations teams to ensure timely remediation.

- Identify End-of-Life (EOL) assets and support mitigation and remediation planning.

Technical Expertise:

- Hands-on experience with operating systems:

a. Linux

b. Windows

c. Unix

- Strong experience with Ansible for:

a. Automated remediation

b. Configuration management

c. Patch deployment

d. Compliance enforcement

- Develop automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, and Ansible to:

a. Automate vulnerability scanning

b. Streamline reporting

c. Enhance remediation workflows

Required Skills & Experience:

- 7 to 10 years of experience in Vulnerability Management, Security Operations, or Infrastructure Security.

- Strong expertise with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7).

- Hands-on experience with EOL asset management and mitigation strategies.

- Proven experience with Ansible automation in enterprise environments.

- Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

- Solid working knowledge of Linux, Windows, and Unix platforms.
