Qualification :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

- 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance

Job Overview :

- We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong experience in both Automation and Manual Testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.

- The candidate will be responsible for test planning, scripting, execution, defect tracking, and working closely with development and product teams.

- A strong foundation in Java, OOP principles, Selenium, BDD frameworks, and SQL for database validations is required.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and e-commerce or retail domain knowledge is highly preferred.

Primary Skills :

- 3+ years of experience in QA with strong knowledge in both manual and automated testing

- Experience in Selenium WebDriver using TestNG and BDD frameworks (like Cucumber)

- Proficiency in Java or any other Object-Oriented Programming language

- Ability to write complex SQL queries for backend validation (Postgres, Cassandra, MySQL)

- Experience in testing web-based e-commerce or retail applications

Technology Skills :

- Automation Tools : Selenium, TestNG, BDD (Cucumber or similar)

Responsibilities and Duties :

- Analyze business and technical requirements

- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases

- Execute test cases manually and automate regression test suites

- Perform backend validations using SQL queries

- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs

- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to ensure timely delivery

- Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, retrospectives)

- Maintain test documentation and contribute to QA process improvement initiatives
