Job Description
What You'll Do :
SAP PP Configuration & Support : Configure and optimize SAP Production Planning modules, including areas like Master Data (Work Centers, Routings, BOMs), MRP (Material Requirements Planning), Shop Floor Control (Production Orders, Confirmations), Capacity Planning, Repetitive Manufacturing, and Production Information Systems.
SAP QM Configuration & Support : Configure and optimize SAP Quality Management modules, covering Quality Planning (Inspection Plan, Master Inspection Characteristics), Quality Inspection (Inspection Lot Processing), Quality Control (SPC), Quality Certificates, Quality Notifications, and Audit Management.
Business Requirement Analysis : Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and robust SAP solutions for both PP and QM processes.
Implementation & Enhancement : Participate in SAP PP QM implementation, rollout, upgrade, and ongoing support projects.
Integration Management : Understand and manage critical integration points between PP/QM and other SAP modules like MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), and FICO (Finance and Controlling).
Testing & Documentation : Prepare detailed test scripts, conduct various testing phases (unit, integration, UAT), and create comprehensive functional documentation, user manuals, and training materials.
Troubleshooting : Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot issues related to SAP PP and QM functionalities, ensuring smooth and efficient manufacturing and quality operations.
Key Requirements :
- 4+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP PP QM Consultant.
- Strong understanding of core SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules and their functionalities.
- Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP PP QM implementation or significant support/enhancement projects.
- Ability to configure SAP PP and QM modules based on complex business requirements.
- Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, FICO).
- Experience with testing cycles and thorough documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with business users and technical teams
