About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer with hands-on experience in LTE UE protocol testing and IMS-based services (VoLTE, ViLTE, and VoWiFi).

The ideal candidate will work on validating and optimizing mobile network performance across multiple chipset platforms to ensure superior end-user experience.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform LTE UE protocol testing using industry-standard tools and real network setups.

- Conduct functional and performance validation of IMS services such as VoLTE, ViLTE, and VoWiFi.

- Execute test cases on mobile handsets across chipset vendors (Qualcomm, MediaTek, Spreadtrum, etc.

- Analyze call flows, message sequences, and KPIs to identify and resolve issues.

- Collaborate with development, modem, and field testing teams to debug and resolve issues.

- Prepare detailed test reports and contribute to system and feature validation documentation.

Technical Skills :

- Strong understanding of 3GPP standards for LTE, IMS, and VoWiFi.

- Proficient in LTE Layer 3 protocol stack (RRC, NAS, PDCP, RLC, MAC, PHY).

- Hands-on experience with network simulators (e.g., Anritsu, Keysight, R&S, Spirent).

- Familiarity with IMS signaling protocols : SIP, SDP, RTP/RTCP, Diameter.

- Experience working with chipset tools (Qualcomm QXDM, QCAT, MTK Modem Log Tool, etc.)

- Good knowledge of VoLTE call flows, EPS bearer management, and SIP registration flows.

- Understanding of eMBMS, CSFB, and SRVCC procedures is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Engineering.

- Knowledge of 5G NR fundamentals will be an added advantage.

- Exposure to Android telephony stack or modem validation frameworks preferred
