Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer with strong expertise in mobile chipset testing and platform validation.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in functional, performance, stability, and connectivity testing across mobile compute platforms, with the ability to debug complex issues and collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform functional, performance, stability, and connectivity testing on mobile chipsets and compute platforms.

- Develop, execute, and automate test cases and test frameworks for hardware, firmware, drivers, and system-level components.

- Validate system functionality across AP (Application Processor), peripherals, multimedia, connectivity modules, and power subsystems.

- Debug issues using logs, traces, and tools, and work closely with development teams to drive resolutions.

- Prepare comprehensive test plans, test cases, test results, and defect reports, ensuring complete traceability and coverage.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation, and validation methodologies.

Required Expertise (One or more of the following domains) :

- Application Processor Testing

- Linux / Core Platform Testing

- Peripherals Testing (USB, sensors, storage, etc.)

- Multimedia Testing Audio, Video, Display, Camera

- Connectivity Testing WLAN, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, BLE, Coexistence

- Power, Performance & Stability Testing

- Secure System Testing, DSP/CV (Computer Vision) Tests, Kernel-Level Testing

- Telephony/IMS, XTS Suite

Skills & Experience :

- 26 years of experience in semiconductor, mobile device, or embedded system testing.

- Strong understanding of debugging, validation methodologies, and system-level testing.

- Hands-on experience with test tools, automation frameworks, log analysis, and reporting.

- Exposure to Qualcomm, Samsung, Mediatek, Broadcom chipsets and associated tools is a strong advantage.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Knowledge of Android/Linux internals, HAL, and driver-level validation.

- Proficiency in Python or Shell scripting for automation.

- Experience working in fast-paced silicon, mobile/compute, or embedded product development environments
