Role Overview

The Delivery Manager IoT will be responsible for end-to-end program delivery, ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and profitability across large-scale, multi-location projects. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and delivery governance to drive innovation and efficiency across complex engineering programs.

Key Responsibilities :

Delivery Management & Governance :

- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple IoT/Embedded/Telecom programs across global delivery centers.

- Establish robust delivery governance frameworks ensuring on-time, within-budget, and quality-assured delivery.

- Drive operational excellence through effective project tracking, milestone management, and risk mitigation.

- Ensure compliance with organizational and client-defined processes, SLAs, and KPIs.

Client & Stakeholder Management :

- Serve as the primary point of contact for executive-level client stakeholders.

- Build and sustain long-term relationships with strategic customers like Qualcomm, Sony, and AMD.

- Translate client business goals into actionable delivery roadmaps and ensure alignment with contractual commitments.

- Manage client escalations and ensure proactive communication and resolution.

Team Leadership & Resource Management :

- Lead and mentor cross-functional delivery teams comprising project managers, engineers, and solution architects.

- Drive resource planning, allocation, and competency development across projects.

- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Financial & P&L Ownership :

- Own the P&L for delivery portfolios ensuring revenue realization, margin optimization, and cost control.

- Support sales and pre-sales teams in solutioning, proposal development, and effort estimation for new business opportunities.

Innovation & Transformation :

- Champion automation, Agile/DevOps methodologies, and AI-driven delivery optimization initiatives.

- Introduce delivery frameworks, reusable assets, and productivity improvement tools to enhance efficiency.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to elevate delivery maturity and client satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

- 15+ years of experience in technology delivery, with at least 5 years in delivery or program management roles.

- Proven track record in Embedded Systems, IoT, Telecom, or Automotive program delivery.

- Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, and automation-driven delivery methodologies.

- Demonstrated expertise in managing global delivery teams and distributed operations.

- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

- Financial acumen with experience managing P&L for large accounts or portfolios.

Preferred Qualifications :

- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification.

- Exposure to AI/ML-based IoT solutions or digital transformation programs.

- Experience working with Tier-1 clients in semiconductor or automotive sectors.
