About the Role :

We are looking for a Bluetooth Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize Bluetooth drivers and the Android Bluetooth protocol stack.

You will work on integrating BT features, enhancing system stability, and ensuring compatibility across devices and chipsets.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, debug, and maintain Bluetooth (BT) drivers and Android BT protocol stack components.

- Support implementation of Bluetooth profiles such as A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, HSP, and BLE.

- Work with system teams to integrate BT features with the Android framework and HAL layers.

- Analyze and fix issues related to connectivity, pairing, audio, and data transfer.

- Perform testing, validation, and optimization for performance and power efficiency.

- Participate in Bluetooth feature certification and compliance testing.

- Maintain proper documentation of design, test cases, and bug reports.

Technical Skills :

- Strong programming knowledge in C/C++ and Java (Android platform development).

- Familiarity with Android Bluetooth stack, HAL, and AOSP architecture.

- Experience with Linux kernel modules, device drivers, or embedded systems.

- Good understanding of Bluetooth Classic and BLE protocols.

- Experience using tools like ADB, logcat, GDB, and Wireshark for debugging.

- Understanding of power optimization and system stability improvements.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science.

- Experience with Qualcomm, Broadcom, or MediaTek chipsets.

- Hands-on with Android BSP and driver integration.

- Exposure to Bluetooth certification processes (BQB/SIG)
