About the Role :

We are looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer who is passionate about building high-quality, scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with test-driven development (TDD) and a deep understanding of best coding practices. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust APIs and applications while contributing to continuous improvements in our development processes.

Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby on Rails applications and their APIs.

- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices (RSpec, Minitest, etc.).

- Apply TDD (Test-Driven Development) principles to ensure code reliability and quality.

- Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness.

- Perform code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices.

- Debug production issues and provide timely fixes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and manage multiple projects efficiently.

- Lead or mentor junior developers - experience in leading a team is a plus.

Requirements :

- Minimum 2 years of hands-on coding experience with Ruby on Rails.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred. Self-taught developers are also welcome.

- Strong understanding of software design patterns, RESTful API design, and version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to deliver high-quality solutions within deadlines.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
