Volody - Cloud & Network Engineer - AWS

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Cloud & Network Engineer with hands-on AWS experience to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud and network infrastructures. The role involves managing cloud-based services, networking, security, and automation to ensure seamless operations across hybrid and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure and monitor network architecture including firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and routing protocols.

- Manage hybrid cloud connectivity (on-premises to AWS) using Direct Connect, VPN tunnels, and transit gateways.

- Implement cloud security best practicesIAM policies, security groups, encryption, and compliance controls.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and monitoring using Terraform/CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar tools.

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across cloud, network, and application layers.

- Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams to optimize infrastructure for scalability and cost-efficiency.

- Conduct disaster recovery planning, backup strategies, and high availability implementations.

- Stay updated with emerging cloud and networking technologies and recommend improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 25 years of experience in cloud engineering and networking roles.

- Strong hands-on expertise in AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, ELB, etc.).

- Proficiency in network administration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Firewalls, Routing, Switching).

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).

- Knowledge of Linux/Windows server administration in cloud environments.

- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).

- Understanding of security best practices in AWS and network management.

- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
