VMware Automation Consultant - vSphere

Description :

As a Consultant, you will focus on code development, automation (preferable Aria Automation), and infrastructure automation.

A strong understanding of VMware infrastructure is essential, and knowledge of Terraform and Ansible/Salt is a plus.

You will implement solutions using JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and other scripting languages.

Key Responsibilities :

- Code Development : Write, maintain, and optimize automation scripts and code to automate processes, integrate systems, and enhance infrastructure performance.

- Infrastructure Automation : Implement solutions using automation tools to streamline infrastructure management.

- VMware Infrastructure : Work with VMware technologies such as vSphere, NSX, and vRealize to automate and integrate systems.

- System Integration : Integrate various tools and platforms, ensuring seamless system communication.

- CI/CD Pipeline : Develop and maintain automation pipelines to automate deployment and testing processes.

- Collaboration : Work closely with senior team members to align with solution architecture and ensure quality and scalability.

Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong knowledge of VMware tools including vSphere, vRealize, NSX, and other VMware technologies is required

- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python, and other scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).

- Familiarity with Terraform and Ansible is a plus.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

- Ability to adapt to new technologies, languages, and platforms quickly
