Visionet Systems - Storage Administrator - NetApp/CEPH

Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Support and manage storage systems for SAP environments, primarily on NetApp C-mode and CEPH storage.

- Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and resolve complex storage issues.

- Manage day-to-day storage operations, including provisioning, monitoring, and performance optimization.

- Ensure high system availability and performance through proactive monitoring and maintenance.

- Participate in 24/7 support rotation to handle critical issues.

- Collaborate with SAP Basis, infrastructure, and application teams for smooth operations.

- Contribute to automation of storage management tasks and improve operational efficiency.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with NetApp C-mode and CEPH storage systems.

- Proficiency in Linux administration.

- Expertise in storage protocols NFS, CIFS, iSCSI.

- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Exposure to SAP environments.

- Experience with backup/recovery solutions.

- Knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, problem, and change management).

- Strong documentation and communication skills.
