Virtusa - Senior .Net Developer - C#/ASP/WebAPI

Role Overview :

As a Senior .Net Engineer based in Gurgaon, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance enterprise applications.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, product managers, and global stakeholders, to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and develop scalable web applications using the .NET ecosystem to meet evolving client requirements and performance benchmarks.

- Lead code reviews and mentor junior team members to ensure adherence to clean coding standards and technical excellence across the development lifecycle.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot complex system issues and implement effective resolutions that minimize downtime and improve application reliability.

- Integrate third-party APIs and microservices to enhance system functionality and ensure seamless data flow across enterprise platforms.

- Optimize database queries and application performance to provide a superior end-user experience for high-traffic enterprise systems.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in .NET Core, ASP.NET, and C# with a strong understanding of object-oriented design patterns and SOLID principles.

- Proven ability to design and manage relational databases using SQL Server, including complex query optimization and stored procedure development.

- Experience working with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or React to build cohesive, full-stack web solutions.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively in a collaborative, hybrid office environment.

- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to adapt to changing project priorities and technical requirements in a fast-paced consulting setting.

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, supported by 6 to 11 years of hands-on experience in software development.
