Virtusa - Full Stack Developer - Java/AngularJS

We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with strong front-end expertise in Angular and solid backend experience in Java and Spring Boot. The ideal candidate should be passionate about building scalable, high-performance applications and have a deep understanding of modern web development practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Angular (primary) and Java-based backend technologies.

- Build responsive and dynamic user interfaces using Angular 14+, PrimeNG, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

- Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Java 17, Spring Boot 3.0, and Spring Batch.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend developers.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architectural decisions.

- Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and adherence to best practices.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the application stack.

- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Primary Skills (Must Have) :

- Strong hands-on experience with Angular 14+ (mandatory primary skill)

- Experience with PrimeNG 14+ for UI components

- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

- Strong backend development experience using Java 17 and Spring Boot 3.0

- Experience with Spring Batch for batch processing

- Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and design patterns

- Experience in application design, performance tuning, and optimization.

Secondary / Good to Have Skills :

- Experience with ReactJS

- Knowledge of database technologies (SQL/NoSQL)

- Familiarity with version control systems like Git

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus

- Understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)

- Experience with containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes is an advantage.

Education :
