Job Responsibilities :
- Creating games (VR,AR) and XR experiences from scratch to end.
- Developing interactive experiences for different Holographic displays.
- Ensure that the game/experiences design is fully implemented and performs as expected
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of games
- Develop code that meets the coding standards being followed
- Deliver the assigned tasks in the estimated timeline.
- Problem solve and determine out-of-the-box solutions for complex technical requirements
- Unit testing to be done in order to provide a stable version to the QA team
- Coordinate with other departments at different phases of development cycle for smooth execution of tasks
- Document the technical specs associated with the tasks assigned.
- Proactively communicate with the team & bring new ideas to the table.
- Understand the detail and value of each small feature and implement it.
- Proactive suggestions to design games and experiences, and story building will be adding extra advantages.
- Guide and provide support to other engineers
- Daily status reports to be submitted to the reporting manager to ensure transparency on work progress
Required Skills :
- BE/ MCA in Computer Science or Equivalent
- 2 - 3year experience in Unreal
- Experience working with Unreal blueprints & C++ coding.
- Knowledge of Unreal Engine workflow.
- Strong knowledge of creating animations in Unreal Engine.
- Strong knowledge of creating walkthrough experiences and storylines in Unreal Engine.
- Understanding of 3D models and concepts to work with 3D modelling.
- Knowledge of integration third party SDKs with Unreal Engine.
- Knowledge of optimization techniques used in Unreal Engine for 3D Games & Experiences.
- Good knowledge on object-oriented concepts
- Should work on at least one shipped Game/Experience projects from Unreal engine.
- Accustomed to Agile process and its workflow
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Keen learner and ready to explore new technologies and tools.
- If you are an avid gamer on any platform who understands the nitty gritty of the free to play game ecosystem, that would be an added advantage
