- Minimum 15 years progressive experience in performance engineering.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering scalable, high-performance solutions in complex environments.
- Mastery with automation tools (Load Runner, JMeter) and monitoring platforms (Splunk, Grafana), including advanced query writing (LogQL, PromQL).
- Deep expertise in APM tools (AppDynamics, Dynatrace) and end-to-end monitoring.
- Strong scripting/automation skills in Linux/Unix environments.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, C++, Python) highly preferred
- Drive end-to-end performance engineering initiatives for large-scale, business-critical applications.
- Lead and mentor performance engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Engage directly with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and SREs to architect scalable, efficient, and highly reliable systems.
- Oversee the design and execution of sophisticated performance testing strategies, workload models, and realistic production scenarios.
- Guide the automation of business transactions and performance validation across diverse platforms.
- Champion the use of monitoring and APM tools (Splunk, Grafana, AppDynamics, Dynatrace) to proactively identify, analyze, and resolve performance issues.
- Perform advanced root cause analyses and implement best-in-class corrective/preventive actions.
- Bring thought leadership in performance engineering, framework/tool development, and process optimization
- Advocate for engineering best practices, performance standards, and innovative approaches to performance challenges.
