Vice President - Cloud & IT Operations

Description :

- Mentor and guide the team on engineering excellence best practices (IaaC, Containers, Security & compliance, AI compliance, uptime and governance best practices).

- Own architecting cloud ops and services for lower cost, efficient operations, scale and security.

- Work with the leadership team to create a forward looking cloud, infrastructure, security and IT strategy and influence product and business strategy. Own and deliver the tech strategy as per plan.

- Work with customer / prospect IT teams during the security evaluation process. Own end to end business metrics related to cloud infrastructure cost, security & compliance and data and AI governance.

- Work with vendors to manage & optimize infra, IT and security related contracts for the company

- Create an engineering delivery plan and execute it within timelines and with high quality.

- Hire, manage and grow a team of cloud engineers, IT & Security professionals.

What you need to succeed :

- 15+ years experience in building, managing and scaling cloud and IT operations including security at scale, with at least 5 years on Amazon public cloud

- Strong analytical and strategic problem solving skills - exhibited throughout the career

- Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives

- Experience communicating with customers and prospects representing your domains of responsibility

- 5+ years of people management and growing a team. Have managed multiple teams with prior experience of managing a manager.

- At least 1 long stint managing and scaling cloud for enterprise SaaS or B2C applications on cloud using enterprise stack (K8s, Docker, IaaC stack) is a must

- B.E/BTech/MS from a Tier 1 college (IITs / IIITs / RECs)
