This resource will be primarily working in conjunction with the business to assist with data governance including data cleansing.

Skills and Experiences required :

- Experience with Data governance

- Experience with Data Cleansing efforts as the main POC for KDEs (key data elements)

- Experience with Data quality efforts including conducting data quality health checks and data quality analysis

- Working with business SMEs and IT (for data updates)

- Strong understanding of data lineage and data dependencies

- Good to have experience working with DQ tools like Informatica, Purview.

Key Responsibilities :

- Data Governance & Stewardship

- Serve as a primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams for data governance activities.

- Support the establishment and maintenance of data governance frameworks, standards, and policies.

- Facilitate discussions with business SMEs to identify, define, and maintain Key Data Elements (KDEs).

Data Quality & Cleansing :

- Lead data cleansing initiatives across various systems and domains, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of critical data.

- Conduct data quality health checks, profiling, and root-cause analysis to identify and resolve data issues.

- Develop remediation plans and collaborate with IT teams to implement data corrections, updates, and enhancements.

- Monitor and report on data quality metrics, trends, and improvements.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement :

- Partner with business SMEs to understand data usage, dependencies, and pain points.

- Work closely with IT counterparts to design and execute data updates, transformation logic, and system enhancements.

- Communicate data-related insights, risks, and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams.
