Versa Networks - IPsec Development Engineer - Network Protocols

Summary :

As an IPsec DEV Engineer at Versa Networks, you will be a working on critical components which are backbone of Versa SD-WAN and SASE solutions.

You will work on developing and sustaining IPsec and related components. You are expected to be knowledgeable on OS, Networking and L2/L3 technologies.

Also, you are expected to have hands-on experience in development and troubleshooting of IPsec control/data plane issues.

Experience : 2 to 10 years of work experience.

Roles And Responsibilities :

- Analyze new requirements, come up with a design, implement the code and unit test the functionality.

- Troubleshoot and fix the issues found during the unit test, QA test, or in customer sites.

- Review existing code or new code changes, and give your feedback.

- Work on improving product quality and performance.

Essential Skills :

- Good debugging skills and especially with tools like gdb, perf, etc.

- Good understanding of Linux OS concepts, fundamental system programming.

- Good understanding of Networking protocol stack like TCP/IP.

- Having 2+ years working experience on IKE/IPsec stack.

Desirable Skills :

- Hands-on experience on either quicksec or strongswan stack is desirable.

- Scripting skills (Shell script, Python script).

- Knowledge of tools such as Git, Bugzilla, Review-board, etc.
