About VeriSmart :

VeriSmart is a blockchain-based data exchange platform that enables businesses to exchange their data with each other in a privacy-compliant manner, helping enterprises retain data ownership and protect their users from third-party data abuse. VeriSmart platform tracks who shared what data with whom, when, by what means & for what purpose, without storing any user data on the platform.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- At least 2+ years of experience working in DevOps

- Build, release, and configuration management of production systems.

- System troubleshooting and problem-solving across platform and application domains.

- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is mandatory, including deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure automation using native GCP services.

- Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements.

- Ensuring critical system security through the use of best-in-class cloud security solutions.

- Strengthen the infrastructure in terms of reliability (configuring HA, etc.), Security (cloud network management, VPC, etc.) and scalability (configuring clusters, load balancers, etc.)

- Expected to have an expert-level understanding of DB replication, Sharding (NoSQL DB Systems and SQL DB), HA clusters, Failovers, and recovery mechanisms.

- Build and maintain CI-CD (continuous integration/deployment) workflows.

- Must have knowledge of logging and analysis, Jenkins, build automation and automated deployments.

- Time to time keep suggesting the development team in terms of best practices to follow.

- Taking part in deployment and cloud architecture discussions and providing valuable inputs related to the same.

- To develop scripts and automated processes to decrease manual work e.g. scripts to start, stop instances, deploy code to multiple servers in a single go, IP based failover and machine switching on failure, heartbeat scripts, services monitoring scripts etc.

- Installation and management of software systems in order to support the development team e.g. DB installation and administration, web servers, caching and other such systems.

- Last but not the least the incumbent must be a Linux pro
