Product Backend Lead (Node.js)

We are looking for a highly driven Product Engineering Lead who can own product execution, backend architecture, and engineering delivery.

The ideal candidate should be capable of leading a team of 3- 6 developers, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions, and building robust systems capable of handling large-scale data workloads.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a small engineering team.

- Own backend architecture, system design, and technical decision-making.

- Drive product execution from requirements to deployment.

- Collaborate with business and product stakeholders to define and prioritize features.

- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance systems using Node.js as backend.

- Design systems capable of handling large-scale data processing and integrations.

- Ensure engineering best practices, code quality, and platform reliability.

- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation across products and workflows.

Required Skills :

- Strong expertise in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, APIs, and backend development.

- Proven experience designing scalable and distributed systems.

- Strong understanding of databases, caching, asynchronous processing, and cloud infrastructure.

- Experience managing engineering teams and delivering production-grade products.

- Ability to convert business problems into practical technical solutions.

- Strong product mindset with the ability to balance business requirements and technical feasibility.

- Familiarity with modern AI technologies, LLMs, AI agents, automation frameworks, and AI-assisted development workflows.

- Good working knowledge of Python is preferred.

- Experience with AWS/GCP, Docker, CI/CD, and modern development practices.
