- Assist in designing and developing database schemas for various applications.

- Collaborate with senior engineers to implement database features and solutions.

- Work on schema migrations and version control of database structures.

- Help optimize SQL queries for performance and efficiency.

- Assist in analyzing database bottlenecks and propose solutions.

- Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues.

- Assist in data migration and integration tasks.

- Help maintain data integrity, quality, and security across databases.

- Support the team in creating ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for data pipelines.

- Automate routine database maintenance tasks (backups, monitoring, and health checks).

- Write scripts to support data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.

- Work closely with data analysts and business teams to develop interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, etc.

- Design and implement visually engaging, user-friendly dashboards that provide insights from complex datasets.

- Collaborate in building data pipelines to supply real-time or batch data to dashboards.

- Help optimize and refresh data sources for timely dashboard updates.

- Work with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into visualizations.

What youll need to bring :

- Bachelors or Masters Degree - Engineering / Computer Science / B.Tech / M.Tech / B.ScIT / M.ScIT / BE / ME / BCA / MCA.

- Familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.

- Strong understanding of SQL (Structured Query Language) and query optimization.

- Strong knowledge of database design and normalization.

- Experience with dashboard development tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Metabase is a plus.

- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.

- Hands-on with scripting languages - preferably Python but bash will also do.

- Hands-on AWS skills, techies with certifications from AWS are particularly encouraged to apply - AWS API Gateway, Lambda, EC2, RDS, SQS, S3, CloudWatch.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
