Job Title : Techno-Functional Consultant MES & DCS Integration.

Position Overview :

We are seeking a Techno-Functional Consultant - MES & DCS Integration with strong expertise in batch manufacturing processes, Distributed Control Systems (DCS), and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

The candidate will play a pivotal role in integrating MES with DCS environments, driving debugging and RCA activities, and collaborating with international customers to design and deliver robust solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Act as the subject matter expert for MES (Batch Manufacturing), ensuring effective design, configuration, and deployment.

- Provide strong domain knowledge of DCS, including batch recipe management systems and control strategies.

- Work with OPC Servers, tags, and related data points to ensure seamless communication between systems.

- Perform log analysis and debugging across MES/DCS applications, providing actionable Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to accelerate issue resolution.

- Engage with international customers, understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and propose scalable and effective solutions.

- Design and review IT/OT network architectures for secure, reliable, and high-performance integrations.

- Lead MES-to-DCS integration projects, ensuring smooth handshakes and data synchronization across layers.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, automation engineers, and product managers.

- (Bonus) Contribute to software development in C# .NET, leveraging WCF, ASP.NET, and Windows Services for system enhancements and custom solutions.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

- Proven experience working in batch manufacturing processes with MES and DCS systems.

- Strong knowledge of OPC servers, tags, and integration standards.

- Demonstrated ability to perform debugging and log analysis with a structured RCA approach.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with global customers and stakeholders.

- Familiarity with IT/OT networking principles, architectures, and security best practices.

- Experience in MESDCS system integration (highly preferred).

- (Bonus) Development experience in C# .NET, WCF, ASP.NET, Windows Services.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of industry verticals such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, automotive, or consumer goods manufacturing.

- Certifications in MES, DCS, or related automation technologies.

- Exposure to Agile methodologies and version control systems.
