Job Description
Solution Design & Architecture :
- Lead the design and optimization of SAP Ariba Buying and Commerce Automation processes.
- Define best practices for procurement, invoice automation, and supplier collaboration.
- Review and refine Ariba-to-SAP integration architecture (via middleware or direct integration).
Operational Support & Governance :
- Act as the primary point of contact for all Ariba downstream issues.
- Resolve high-priority incidents and provide hands-on configuration support.
- Establish governance and monitoring processes for supplier transactions.
Stakeholder Engagement :
- Collaborate closely with procurement, finance, and IT teams to gather requirements and align solutions with business objectives.
- Liaise with external vendors and SAP support teams as needed.
Enhancements & Change Requests :
- Assess, design, and implement minor enhancements and configuration changes.
- Provide solution impact analysis for proposed changes.
Testing & Deployment Support :
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Ensure proper documentation of test scripts, scenarios, and outcomes.
Knowledge Transfer & Training :
- Develop and deliver end-user training for Ariba Buying and Commerce Automation.
- Prepare documentation and conduct handover to the internal IT team.
Strategic Advisory Role :
- Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Advise on roadmap and best practices for Ariba adoption and supplier collaboration.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 10+ years of overall SAP experience with 6+ years in SAP Ariba (Downstream).
- Proven expertise in Ariba Buying, Invoicing, and Commerce Automation.
- Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and supplier enablement.
- Hands-on experience with integration between Ariba and SAP ECC/S/4HANA (via CIG or middleware).
- Ability to manage both solution architecture and configuration tasks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in the industrial/manufacturing sector is a plus.
- Familiarity with best practices for supplier collaboration and automation.
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a consultative mindset.
- Ability to lead workshops and communicate effectively with both business and IT leaders.
- Self-driven and capable of working independently in a client-facing environment.
