Role Expectations :

Test Planning & Execution :

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on functional and business requirements.

- Conduct manual testing of mobile (iOS and Android) and web-based trading/FinTech applications.

- Perform functional, integration, regression, UI/UX, and end-to-end testing across multiple environments.

- Validate financial transactions, trade flows, and data consistency across back-end and front-end systems.

Defect Management :

- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.

- Work closely with the development team to reproduce, isolate, and resolve defects.

- Participate in regular bug review and triage meetings.

Domain-Specific Testing :

- Verify trade execution, order matching, portfolio management, risk, and settlement functionalities.

- Validate integrations with market data feeds, payment gateways, and third-party financial services.

- Ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance of financial data and calculations.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Business Analysts to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.

- Contribute to test documentation, release notes, and quality metrics.

- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives (Agile/Scrum).

Quality Improvement :

- Provide feedback on usability and suggest improvements to enhance product quality.

- Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with internal or external stakeholders.

- Support continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and techniques.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

- 3 - 6 years of experience in Manual QA for FinTech or Trading platforms (e., stock trading, forex, crypto, wealth management, or payment systems).

- Strong understanding of trading workflows (order lifecycle, execution, settlement, etc.

- Experience testing Mobile Apps (iOS & Android) and Web applications.

- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

- Proficiency with QA tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar.

- Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools (basic level desirable).

- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to identify edge cases.

- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
